Kent was born in Shenandoah, Iowa. He graduated from Drake University with a degree in Advertising Design and spent the first 4 years after graduation as an Industrial Designer in Chicago. Since 1973 Kent has been Design Manager for a leading manufacturer in Omaha, specifically invloved in retail design.
Kents photographs reflect his love of the outdoors and special places. His design background provides a unique outlook and vision of color, composition and subject.
